Bennett Kim
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Bennett Kim is the Chief Executive Officer of Onionflix. Additionally, Mr. Kim is the Chief Investment Officer of Big Rock Partners (BRP), a real estate investment firm that has managed over $800 million in assets. He is responsible for acquisitions, development, asset management, and dispositions. Prior to BRP, Mr. Kim was a Vice President at Apollo Real Estate Advisors, a global private equity firm that has invested over $7 billion of equity. Mr. Kim was responsible for new investments and investment management from 2000 to 2006 including the development of a $400 million mixed-use project that consists of two hotels, two condominium towers, retail, office and structured parking.

Between 1999 to 2000, Mr. Kim was an Assistant Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management, where he evaluated and executed investments in the U.S. and Japan for funds then totaling $1.7 billion of equity.

Previously, Mr. Kim worked as an Associate at Merrill Lynch Real Estate Investment Banking, where he evaluated financing alternatives for public and private real estate companies.

Mr. Kim also worked as a Senior Analyst at Walt Disney Imagineering and as an Analyst at Disney Development Company. In addition to evaluating investments and development opportunities of conventional real estate assets, Mr. Kim led feasibility studies for the development team of Disney's California Adventure, a $2 billion theme park, and helped structure a $500 million municipal bond deal through tax increment financing.

In 2006, Institutional Investor News selected Mr. Kim as one of "The 20 Rising Stars of Real Estate" in its Real Estate Finance & Investment magazine. Mr. Kim is a founding Board member of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers and was on the Board of Directors for the National Multi Housing Council and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kim was selected to participate on the UCLA Alumni Association Strategic Planning Committee and serves on the board for USC Center for Asia Pacific Leadership. Mr. Kim graduated with an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from University of California at Los Angeles.

David Choi

David Choi is a native Los Angeles singer/songwriter/producer whose songs and tracks have been heard on NBC, FOX, VH1, MTV, A&E, E!, Travel Channel, Style, PBS, Food Network, Disney, retail stores all over the USA, as well as in national commercials overseas. He has worked with brands such as Kelloggs, Starburst, American Cancer Society, GE, YesStyle, Blue Microphones, Google, Toyota, Samsung, Hyundai and JC Penney. On YouTube, David has close to a million subscribers and over 117,000,000 total video views. He has been interviewed by such notables such as Larry King (Larry King Now) and Baek Ji Yeon from “People Inside” (Korea).

David has toured all over the world performing his original songs and covers in front of thousands of people — all without being signed to a record label. He wrote and self produced all three of his albums “Only You”, “By My Side”, and “Forever and Ever” which debuted at #97 on the iTunes top album charts. He continues to tour and share his music with people from all walks of life to every corner of the world.

Benny Luo

Benny Luo has been an Internet Marketer since 2006. His expertise lies in generating targeted traffic that converts through various internet mediums including: social media marketing & strategy, search engine marketing and pay-per-click advertising. He is also the Founder of NewMediaRockstars.com, a popular publication focused on covering the online video and new media space. In 2011, he was chosen as one of the top 3 finalists to be Charlie Sheen’s social media intern out of 80,000 worldwide applicants, and was the Social Media Strategist for the 2011 Billboard K-Pop Masters Concert. Benny has been a speaker at CES, New Media Expo, VidCon, and Silicon Beach Fest on various topics including online video, marketing, and social media.

Mike Song
Board Member

Mike Song is an internationally renowned choreographer and dancer. He has been a creative force behind several distinguished dance crews and projects such as America’s Best Dance Crew’s Kaba Modern, Step Up Revolution, BLAZE: World Tour, and KINJAZ. With over 30 million views of his collective work on Youtube, he has become one of the most recognizable personas in the dance scene.

Born in Redondo Beach, California, Mike was inspired to dance by both American and Korea pop artists such as Michael Jackson, Usher, H.O.T. and Yoo Seung Jun. At the age of 16, Mike was flown out to Korea after winning Radio Korea’s Annual Summer Talent Search.

When Mike entered UC irvine in 2004 as an economics major, he joined Kaba Modern, which changed his life. Two years later, he became director of Kaba Modern. During his year as director in 2007, Kaba Modern won 1st Place in the USA at the Hip Hop International Championships, and 2nd Place in the World. Mike went on to represent the team as finalists on the first season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew.

Since then, Mike has traveled extensively (both domestically and internationally), to perform, judge, and teach. As an instructor, Mike has taught workshops in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, and South America and continues to travel and teach around the world. Mike has also been known to dabble in freestyle competitions as well. In 2010, he won 1st Place in the Urban Street Jam All Styles Battle. In 2011, he won 1st Place in the Full Force Anniversary All Styles Battle.

In 2011, Mike was invited to perform in the Jabbawockeez Müs-I-C Show at the Las Vegas Monte Carlo.

Most recently, Mike has choreographed for the critically acclaimed international stage production "BLAZE: The Streetdance Sensation," under the direction of Anthony Van Laast (Batman Live, Mamma Mia!, My Fair Lady). He also worked with Korean Pop sensation “B2ST” and co-choreographed the music video for their award-winning #1 single, “Breath.” Domestically, he has been featured as a dancer and guest choreographer for Director Jon M. Chu’s web series “The LXD,” in both the Seasons 2 & 3 and their performance on the Conan Show and Nickolodeon's HALO Awards. He is also an Assistant Choreographer for the movie Step Up Revolution.

Most recently, Mike made his 2nd appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show and performed an experimental collaboration of Dancing and Beatboxing with Canadian beatbox champion KRNFX. His first appearance on the show included a performance from his viral hit video, "Gangnam Style Mom."

Mike ultimately hopes to promote positivity and inspire and encourage others through dance and entertainment.
